The Tree Hoose offers private luxurious self-catering accommodation for a couple, just 15 minutes walk from Inverness city centre making it the perfect base for sightseeing and visiting Culloden Battlefield and Fort George. Golfers flock to this part of Scotland with links courses including Royal Dornoch, Castle Stuart and Nairn very close by.

Guests at the holiday home will be able to enjoy many activities in and around Inverness.

The Treehoose is situated in one of the best areas in Inverness and has been built to provide guests with both privacy and luxury. Perched on an elevated position surrounded by trees and wildlife this stunning new built private dwelling it is the ideal place to relax. Outside there is a deck with coloured deck lights and a sunken subtly lit hot tub. Here you can also spend time stargazing and watching roe deer, pine martens and red squirrels getting up to their antics.

Inside the Treehoose has a modern and well equipped kitchen/sitting/dining room, a separate bedroom with a kingsize bed and a contemporary bathroom with bath and shower. This one bedroomed luxury escape has soffit lights and skirting and panel lights which give the main living area a lovely relaxed feeling. The bathroom has a huge bath and power shower to help you relax at the end of your day exploring.

This unique self-catering property is just a 15 minute walk along the riverside to Inverness town centre which is steeped in history. The town offers a wide variety of restaurants, bars and cafes which serve seafood, Indian, Chinese, Highland fare and traditional pub grub. Macgregor’s Bar often hosts live music and traditional sessions where you can listen to fiddles and pipes late into the night. Rocpool Reserve is a Michelin Star restaurant which is part of the Chez Roux group. Facing the river, menus showcase local Scottish produce blended with classic French country cuisine, all overseen by multi award-winning Chef Albert Roux.

Whisky lovers can enjoy tasting some of the best whiskies on the Strathspey Whisky Trail which includes over 50 malt whisky distilleries including Macallan and Glenlivet. The area around Inverness offers a wide variety of historic sightseeing opportunities.

From Urquhart Castle, Eilean Donan Castle, Inverness Castle to Culloden Battlefield and the Highlanders Museum.

Culloden Battlefield is the site of the final Jacobite Rising, the last and most harrowing pitched battle fought on British soil. The visitor centre is home to fascinating artefacts from both sides of the confrontation and there is an immersive surround cinema to experience what the battle would have been like.

 

For those seeking more active past times there are lots of golf courses to enjoy. The seaside links golf course at Castle Stuart along Moray Firth opened in 2009 and is one of the most spectacular locations for a golf course you could ever wish to find. Other links courses include Royal Dornoch and Nairn.
